GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who do not have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov.nosurprises

In accordance with requirements set by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and preceding the No Surprises Act, fees have been and will continue to be clearly stated on this website and in the intake paperwork. Fees are reviewed before making an initial appointment so costs are clearly communicated before starting services. If you have questions about fees, you may refer to the intake paperwork or request a good faith estimate.

questions you may have about therapy

  • I am a 100% online practice. I utilize a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform for our sessions.

  • Send a message through my Contact page or email me: info@jordanwakefieldpllc.com

  • I’m independently licensed in Colorado and Illinois as an LPC and LCPC respectively. I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors, a professional organization that recognizes professionals who have voluntarily met standards set by the counseling profession.

  • I offer a free consultation so we can determine if I’m the right fit for you. If I’m not, I will provide you with referrals.

  • It depends! Research indicates that 50%of people experience significant improvement after 12-16 sessions. Some people participate in therapy for several months and others attend for several years. It all depends on why you're seeking therapy and what it means to feel better for you.

  • I recommend meeting weekly for the first 4-6 sessions. After that, I recommend biweekly appointments.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes. We process what you bring in and discuss interventions you can try.

  • I use Attachment-Focused Therapy (AFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

  • I do not assign goals to you. Instead we talk about what you want to accomplish and how to break that into manageable, measurable steps.
